Past Experience & Feedback
|
The Building Integrity Foundation Course provides a comprehensive view on corruption issues in defence and security, case studies, presentations from leading experts and actors in the field, network events, and ways in which corruption can be tackled and national security subsequently improved. The course has been received enthusiastically by its participants who praised it for its content, delivery and instructors. A sure sign of its success and popularity is the fact that it attracted participants from the defence and security establishments from various countries around the globe and did not remain confined to a single geographical location. These countries include Afghanistan, Albania, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine and the US. Feedback on the Building Integrity Foundation Course is Very EncouragingFeedback on the Building Integrity Foundation Course is very encouraging. Here is what some of the course participants said about their experience: '[I] Cannot provide enough praise for the truly excellent teamwork displayed by the teaching staff. This made the course quality higher.' 'I greatly enjoyed this class and found it to be a good and useful introduction to corruption issues and the defence sector. The format – lectures and discussions – and style – casual, plenty of humour – made it easier to get through what were often long days. The dinners and the castle trip provided great opportunities for team building and idea sharing. When I’ve had a chance to revisit the website and the materials posted there, I’ll be happy to provide further feedback and respond to any questions. Many thanks for a worthwhile program.' '[The best thing about the Building Integrity Course was] … to exchange experience between experts from the different countries, to see other ways of solving the problem, [and making] personal acquaintance with foreign colleagues.' 'Thank you very much for this incredibly informative, comprehensive and interesting course!' 'The course provided a significant amount of useful information, often in an accessible form. Networking opportunities were good, particularly for people from countries seeking to reform.' 'This is a very worthwhile endeavour and those who designed the course deserve a vote of thanks!' 'I am pleased to see the… new initiative called ‘Building Integrity’. The initiative was very well received and has since expanded.' -The Rt Hon Lord Robertson of Port Ellen, Former Secretary-General of NATO.Read more on Education & Training. Read more on Our Work.
