Transparency International's Defence and Security Programme (TI-DSP) works closely with governments to help them build integrity and raise standards in their defence and security establishments. We are actively engaged with governments who are keen to raise anti-bribery standards in their defence organisations.  We have been surprised and pleased by how many members of governments and armed forces around the world have expressed interest in following up practical ways of strengthening measures to counteract bribery and corruption. We have worked with officials from countries around the world to help them build integrity in their establishments.

TI DSP can help governments and armed forces diagnose their corruption issues and risks and build integrity in their establishments. Corruption affects defence establishments around the world—it is not limited to developing countries or those known to be corrupt—so we work with countries as diverse as Norway, Afghanistan, and Bulgaria.
