Multilateral Initiatives

Transparency International's Defence and Security Programme (TI-DSP) works with international organisations such as NATO, the African Union, and the African Development Bank to develop practical tools to reduce corruption risks in defence and security establishments, with potential for adaption in many countries.

TI-DSP is furthermore strongly involved in multilateral negotiations and policy formulation at the United Nations and the European Union, and has also forged strong links with committed individuals and lead nations in e.g. the World Bank, at the OECD, and in ECOWAS. TI-DSP takes a strong interest in sector specific anti-corruption initiatives such as those encouraged by the G20.
