Tools & Resources to Diagnose Corruption
An accurate diagnosis is essential for effective action. Diagnosing potential risks is the first step towards preventing and countering corruption in the defence and security sectors. It is reasonably straight-forward for interested parties - defence officials, defence companies, parliamentarians and the public - to make a diagnosis of the defence and security corruption risks in their country.
Transparency International's Defence and Security Team (TI DSP) offers two tools to diagnose corruption risk: a typology, which outlines how corruption can occur in defence and security establishments, and a self-assessment process for in-depth analysis by nations. The self-assessment process can be conducted in cooperation with our team.
